I submitted my poem, “The Faerie Folk,” to the Short Story Library today. Will let you know if they accept it. If they don’t, it has actually been requested by Jane of “Jane Knows Publishing” for publication in their bi-weekly “People’s Art & Lit to Go” that is disseminated in San Francisco, CA.
My story, “The Secret Hollow,” has been accepted for publication by the online magazine, Short Story Library!!!!
It will be published on Sunday, July 27th.

“All the Sacred Hollows” was rejected by Realms of Fantasy around the end of May, but I was invited to submit a story to a new Ezine. It had to be under 5,000 words, so I edited “Hollows” back down to “The Secret Chamber” and submitted it on June 21st. They decide on which stories they’re going to publish on the 20th of each month, so I expect to hear something after July 20th. If they don’t accept it, I’ll publish it here for all to read and give up trying to make any money off it.
I submitted this story to Realms of Fantasy Magazine on April 2nd. It is the story that morphed and grew out of “The Secret Chamber.”
I received my first short story rejection today. I am disappointed, but not disheartened. I was actually glad to finally hear something.
“Faerie Wedding Bells” was rejected by Cricket Magazine in only one and half months. I’m still waiting to hear from Faerie Magazine about “The Faeries in My Hair,” which they will have had for four months come April 11th.
The canned rejection letter was very polite:

Thank you for your interest in our magazine and for submitting your manuscript(s) for our consideration. My editorial staff and I have carefully studied your material, and we regret to inform you that we do not find it appropriate for our publications.
